Your fellow students are engaged in fieldwork from the High Arctic to South Africa to Southeast Asia, as well as in York’s hydrology, GIS/remote sensing, climatology and biogeochemistry labs.

Cost per year is for the 2017-2018 academic year and includes tuition and supplementary fees.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 600] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Michigan English Language Assessment Battery [min. 85] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 100] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7.5]
|Additional Admission Requirements:
The Masters Degree is offered in all major fields of Geography.
Graduates with a four-year first degree after senior matriculation or an Honours degree from a recognized university, or with equivalent qualifications, and with at least a B (second class) standing will be considered for admission as Candidates for the M.A. or M.Sc. degree.
