||The sea constitutes two-thirds of the entire planet and is of fundamental importance to human activity, sustaining life, providing commerce and navigational routes and a substantial proportion of our natural resources. Taking into account the need to regulate such a wide range of sea-related transactions, this specialized LLM has been developed with a view to providing students with a sound and relevant body of information and understanding of Shipping Law. The course focuses on various aspects of maritime law, from the different contracts for the carriage of goods to marine insurance, international trade and law of the sea.
