Description The School of Social Work offers a world-class, dynamic and personalized Joint PhD program in social work/social policy in order to promote the development of leading scholarship on social issues within Canada and Quebec. Students engage in small-course seminars designed to explore cutting edge knowledge on social work theory and practice, public policy and research methodologies. We have an exciting and growing faculty with a variety of research expertise in: Ageing, Social Exclusion and Solidarity, Child Welfare, Leadership and Public, Service, International Social Welfare, Psychosocial Approaches, Aboriginal Peoples', Violence Against Women and Children, Health and Disability, Poverty and Social Development, and Community Organizing.
