Description Laurier is a leader in entrepreneurship education as a founding academic partner of Communitech, Waterloo Region’s industry innovation centre, and with the Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation being one of Canada’s longest running post-secondary organizations dedicated to entrepreneurship education. Our unique MBA in Entrepreneurship is designed for innovative individuals that have an existing or potential business idea. Students will receive mentorship from a distinct group of community partners, service providers, world-renowned faculty, and a network of Laurier Alumni entrepreneurs. In addition, students will have the opportunity to work at the Communitech Hub, an industry-led innovation centre that is an incubator for entrepreneurs and start-up businesses. Students will network, brainstorm, and be immersed with other like-minded, talented, and hard-working individuals while enrolled in this specialization.

Evidence of strong quantitative skills, normally by the successful completion of the GMAT test with a score of 550 or higher. The GMAT is mandatory for all students who have completed their previous degrees outside of Canada.

Applicants are required to have a four year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum B standing (73%) in the final year of study, or most recent 10 half-credit university degree courses AND a minimum of two years of full-time work experience.
