||The Graduate program in the Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy offers exciting opportunities for challenging graduate studies at the M.Sc. or Ph.D. levels, in well-equipped laboratories in a variety of disciplines such as developmental biology, bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, and molecular and cellular biology. In these laboratories, the students will find the opportunity to be well trained in a stimulating environment favouring collaborations with colleagues in other laboratories. The primary goal of the department is to offer a world-class training program in molecular, cellular and high throughput technologies encompassing systems biology. Internationally competitive stipends are offered to assure the recruitment of highly qualified and motivated students. As well, international, national, provincial and internal studentship opportunities are available. The quality of training and the highly competitive research available within this department provide an invaluable environment to pursue graduate and post-graduate studies.
Human Systems Biology (HSB) is a burgeoning field of research that deals with characterizing health and disease of humans at the molecular level, with the ultimate hope to better understand the molecular basis of diseases at the systems level.
