Description Graduate will be prepared for careers in government and industry, working in areas such as environmental policy, impact assessment, scientific research and education. Graduates will also be prepared for further advanced study (e.g. PhD programs) in environmental studies/sciences programs and in specialized fields of geography, hydrology, history, biology, forestry, philosophy, ecology and teaching. Students will be prepared for these endeavors by participating in a uniquely interdisciplinary program in which humanities, social science, and natural science approaches to understanding and solving environmental issues will be fully integrated.​
