||Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine are separate programs each leading to eligibility for examination in the corresponding discipline by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Accreditation requirements specify a “core” program common to both disciplines, which allows both Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine to be completed in four years. Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology each takes
three years and may be taken independently.
Each may be a customized program of study and research. Preference is normally given to candidates who wish to pursue the combined program.
