Faculty: Faculty of Law
Degree: Master
Field of Study: International Relations and AffairsLaw (LL.B, J.D., B.C.L.)
Description International perspectives are becoming increasingly important in the practice of the law, and the Combined J.D./Collaborative M.A. in International Relations provides students with an opportunity to integrate an international approach into their study of the law. Students who successfully complete the program receive both a J.D. and a Master of Arts in Political Science (Collaborative program in International Relations). The program enables the students to complete the two degrees in three years of academic study rather than the four years required to receive the two degrees separately. The first year of the program consists of the first year law curriculum. In the following two years, the students complete the compulsory requirements of the upper years of the J.D. and the course requirements for the combined program.
