||The Philosophy Department at Saint Mary’s University has a small but thriving M. A. program which typically admits one or two students per year. We have particular strengths in ethics, social and political philosophy, epistemology, aesthetics, philosophy of education, history of late modern philosophy, and philosophy of science and its history. We seek to admit students who have a record of academic accomplishment in their Bachelor’s degree, whose research interests match those of our faculty. Research Proposal: Please submit a statement of no more than 500 words specifying your proposed thesis research interests.
A statement of no more than 500 words of your philosophic interests and abilities.
Two samples of academic or other written work in philosophy. (10-25 pages in length)
Official transcripts for all universities and colleges attended.
Three (3) recommendation forms.
A current CV/Resume.
Official Proof of English Language Proficiency (if required).
