Description Program focus is a unique combination of theory and practice. The MA option offers studies in Cinema & Medial Studies; the MFA option offers studies in Screenwriting and Production. Our professors and staff are active participants in the Canadian and international worlds of movie-making and film studies. Together with our students, we are an integral part of the Toronto film community.

Applicants are required to have an honours degree or equivalent with a minimum 'B' average in film/video or a related discipline. Professional experience/achievements can be also considered. We can make exceptions for candidates who demonstrate equivalency in terms of the success of their achievements outside the academy.
