|Additional Admission Requirements:
A Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Toronto with an average standing of mid-B or better over the final two years, or an equivalent program and standing from another recognized university is required. Applicants whose undergraduate degree does not meet this standard may be required to take appropriate prerequisite courses.
Applicants will normally have two years of teaching experience, although this requirement may be waived at the discretion of the department.
An interview with the Music Education faculty must be scheduled whenever possible. With faculty approval, an assigned essay may be substituted for the interview.
