||Human resources management and industrial relations involves the study of all issues relating to the employment relationship. Major and minor requirements call for competence not only in the conventional relevant disciplines, but also in other subjects relating to management and decision-making activities within the business enterprise.
The program is structured such that students will normally complete 12 courses over the first two years. All students must take the mandatory four major area course requirements. In consultation with their supervisors, students must also take a minimum of four appropriate research-methods courses (research-methods minor) and a minimum of four elective courses at the graduate level (cognate minor).
