Description LLM-Research stream (full-time): a research-intensive degree, suitable for students who want to advance to the PhD afterward. This stream requires students to complete course and seminar work and a 125-150 page thesis (about 40,000 words) which is examined orally. LLM-MRP Research stream (full-time): a research-based degree that involves more coursework than the full-time LLM, and a Major Research Paper (MRP) of 60-70 pages (about 20,000 words) in lieu of a thesis. The MRP is graded without an oral examination.
