||The Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology provides a foundation in counselling psychology theory and methodology. Along with coursework, the program offers hands-on, supervised training in counselling psychology techniques. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared for a wide variety of community mental health positions in the public and private sectors.
This program is offered under the written consent of the Minister of Advanced Education for a renewed 5 year term effective November 14, 2011, having undergone a quality assessment process and been found to meet the criteria established by the Minister.

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 580] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 92] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) [min. 240] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7]
Applicants whose first language is not English must submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
|Additional Admission Requirements:
Applicants must have documented evidence of existing counselling experience through undergraduate coursework, crisis line training and other experience deemed relevant by the admissions committee. Approved applicants will be invited for an interview as the final step in the admissions process.
