Physical Therapy

Description This program consists of ten modules that include academic course work and 30 weeks of clinical practicum experiences. Following the tenth module, there will be one week dedicated to final completion and presentation of a research project that is integrated throughout the curriculum. The program has been designed to offer students a high quality educational experience and to ensure that the University of Saskatchewan continues to offer a program that is consistent with national accreditation standards, other Canadian physical therapy programs, and the leadership direction of national Physical Therapy professional organizations. Students will graduate with the entry-level clinical requirements to obtain a license to practice physiotherapy in Saskatchewan and Canada. Initial work expectations of graduates will be, primarily, the provision of direct client care, rather than advanced research and/or management.
