||At Carleton University, if you’d like to pursue graduate studies in biology at the doctoral level, you can do so in a collaborative program offered by the Ottawa-Carleton Institute of Biology. This Institute combines the resources of the Departments of Biology of Carleton University and the University of Ottawa and has a joint committee that supervises the programs and regulations.

You must be accepted by a faculty member who will supervise your research project, and the choice of supervisor will determine your primary campus location. Your advisory committee will normally include faculty members from both universities.
