Description The Doctoral Program prepares nurse leaders and researchers to conduct original research. Areas of faculty research strengths include cardiovascular health, family health, professional education, and health systems research. The Faculty invites applicants who are self-directed practitioners with a clearly identified practice specialization, interested in research in a particular area of practice, and with the potential to attract major funding. Applicants are required to seek out faculty with whom they believe would be a good "fit" with their focus of study prior to application.
