The Faculty of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University is dedicated to serving students and the business community of British Columbia. The faculty is committed to research and teaching that makes an impact. It creates and communicates knowledge to improve the performance of individuals, organizations, and their communities. The faculty champions lifelong learning, embraces productive change, and challenges our students and ourselves to be innovative. It brings the best of research and teaching to the learning experience.
The undergraduate and executive MBA programs demonstrate a spirit of innovation, flexibility, and relevance. They produce broadly educated, enterprising, and socially responsible managers capable of making lasting contributions to their communities. As part of the undergraduate program, the Co-operative Education program enables students to mix work and education. Graduate programs at SFU Business are unique. Most business schools offer only one MBA program with multiple specialist streams following the basic coursework. We instead provide individual programs tailored for separate markets, with each program offered on a cohort model. This enables us to tailor every course to the specific population served, resulting in a more satisfying student experience delivered in smaller class sizes to cohesive groups.
