Who is behind GradSchoolFinder.com?
- The organization that is behind this site, launched in May 2008, is EDge Interactive (that's us). We have several websites designed to help students find the right school, scholarship or career, and to help schools and other organizations find the right students.
As a student, can I use this site at no charge?
- Yes. The site is absolutely free.
Where does the information come from?
- The information on this site comes from our flagship site, SchoolFinder.com. We maintain a central database of every school and post-secondary program in Canada. The database is maintained by trained researchers and adheres to strict standards including the Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) 2000. This standard is used by many organizations including the Canadian (http://www.statcan.gc.ca/subjects-sujets/standard-norme/cip-cpe/2011/index-indexe-eng.htm) and US governments (http://nces.ed.gov/pubsearch/pubsinfo.asp?pubid=2002165).
Does it cost anything to be listed on GradSchoolFinder.com?
- No it does not. We will list any legitimate graduate school and program on the site. Please contact us to set an account.
Can non-Canadian schools and programs be listed?
- Yes, but not now. Our goal is to help students worldwide find the right school. Towards that end we will be developing our database for the US, UK and Europe, and Asia in the future.
Can my organization advertise on the site?
- Yes. As a graduate school you can promote your programs on the website. As a paying client on the site, you can activate a lead form on your program descriptions. Please contact us for further information on these and other promotional services.
