The MPhil in Policy Studies is an interdisciplinary degree program that aims to prepare students for careers in the public sector, public services and business. Successful applicants are drawn from a wide variety of academic background including Arts, Science, Forestry, Law, Kinesiology, and Engineering. The MPhil program prepares students for further study in policy-related graduate and professional degree programs. The program also utilizes theoretical and practical knowledge to address specific policy issues and initiatives.
There is opportunity for specialization within the MPhil in these available areas: International Development; Worldviews; Citizen Engagement / Dispute Resolution; Sustainability / Environmental Issues; Leadership; and Community Development. Students enjoy the flexibility of the program, which is designed for full-time studies over a two year period, and can also be taken on a part-time basis. |

| ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS |
| Prerequisites: |
Successful applicants are drawn from a wide variety of academic backgrounds including: Arts, Science, Forestry, Law, Kinesiology, and Engineering. The minimum requirement is normally an undergraduate honours degree with a GPA of 3.5 on the UNB scale of 4.3. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 throughout the programme. Please contact the pertinent Stream Coordinator for the required minimum TOEFL score.
Applications are equally welcome from recent graduates or from professionals seeking to upgrade their qualifications mid-career.
