Description: As the Faculty of Nursing celebrates its 50 year anniversary in 2008, the MN program continues to evolve. The Faculty of Nursing introduced a Master’s of Nursing degree in Advanced Practice with a Thesis/Report Stream in 1995. In 1999 the MN program was expanded to include a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Stream. In 2008 the MN program was again expanded to include a course-based Nurse Educator (NE) Stream.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Prerequisites:

Normally, a BN or BScN with courses in undergraduate statistics and nursing research. Normally, a B in these courses will be considered acceptable
Normally, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 or B+ level
Registration or eligibility for registration as a nurse in the province of New Brunswick
Three references - one referee should be able to provide an academic reference* that describes the applicant as a learner. (Please note, references are part of the Graduate School's application and the form can be found on their website)
