Description: The Cultural Studies Department at Trent University now extends its groundbreaking approach to the field with its new Ph.D. program, the first free-standing Ph.D. in Cultural Studies program in Canada. The normal requirement for admission into the Ph.D. program is a master's degree (or equivalent), with at least high honours standing, in Canadian Studies or a cognate discipline. Applicants should note, however, that meeting the admission requirement does not guarantee admission to the program.
