Description: Thesis (maximum 100 pages) to be written under the supervision of a professor in Classical Studies. It may or may not be related to the subject of your research seminar(s). Applicants should contact the professor in their field of interest early to be sure that s/he is willing and able to supervise their thesis work.

All seminars in Classics, Ancient History and ancient Philosophy count for the seminars requirement of the complementary courses. For courses outside of the university, the on-line "Interuniversity Transfer Form" must be completed. Please note only credits for courses taken at other universities will transfer to your student record, not the grades. Students must also keep in mind that a McGill Classical Studies professor must supervise the final major research paper or the thesis.

Candidates are required to have a B.A. Honours in Classics or equivalent.
