Description:
The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/Master of Science dual degree program gives veterinary medical students the opportunity to conduct active and original bench and/or field research in anatomy, microbiology, morphological and clinical pathology, parasitology, pharmacology, livestock production, marine biology and wildlife conservation medicine.
In this dual degree program students will complete the DVM degree requirements simultaneously with the MSc requirements. This entails spending the first two summers of the four-year veterinary medical program in Grenada in order to meet the coursework requirements for the MSc program.
Those applying for the DVM/MPH or DVM MSc must complete a School of Veterinary Medicine application and the Graduate Addendum. The Board of Admissions for the Medical or Veterinary Medicine program will review those applying for a dual degree program first. Upon acceptance, an appropriate representative of the requested program of study will conduct an interview, and the Dean of Graduate Studies and faculty members will review the request for the dual degree program.
