Description: The veterinary medical program is composed of the three-year pre-veterinary medical program and the four-year veterinary medical program. This provides students with flexible entry points depending on their academic background.

Generally, students from the North American model of education who hold a baccalaureate degree enter directly into the four-year veterinary medical program. Students from other academic backgrounds begin their studies in the pre-veterinary medical program, which provides a firm foundation for the veterinary medical program.

Those applying for the D.V.M./M.P.H. or D.V.M./M.Sc. must complete a School of Veterinary Medicine application and the Graduate Addendum.
