| Description: |
Queen’s University offers an outstanding residency program in Anesthesiology that produces excellent clinicians, researchers, educators and physicians who will be the leaders of tomorrow. The 25 attending anesthesiologists on our staff are all appointed through Queen’s University and therefore are dedicated to teaching and producing the highest quality residents. Our attending staff members are all fellowship trained in the various anesthesia subspecialties, and take pride in providing the highest quality care to our region. Research is strongly supported at Queen’s and the department was rewarded with $883,241.00 in grants, producing 22 abstract submissions and 32 full paper publications in highly respected peer-reviewed journals last year. Residents are major players in a lot of our research, contributing to many of these papers. |
