The Department of Economics is home to 14 full-time faculty engaged in research activities covering a broad spectrum of fields. These include behavioral economics, altruism and household behaviour, environmental and natural resources, health, labour, industrial organization game theory, international economics, development, regional economics, microeconomic and macroeconomic theory, and econometrics.
The department works closely with other departments on campus to provide our students full and rigorous training.
Students must have completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan or its equivalent. An average of 70% or better must be maintained during the final two years of the undergraduate program.
